Party #1 (sort of)
We had a scheduled get together with the "Dunn" side of the family a few days before Brooke's bday at Walery's. We had made some fun cupcakes and decided to have my family bring their gifts for her so we were not spending $ to go out twice. (Brooke really wanted Red Robin). This turned out great and most of MY cousins kids were there. It was such a great time visiting with my aunt and uncle, cousin and his wife, and their four kids who were all visiting from Alaska. Many of us cousins that live locally were able to come as well. We had a wonderful time. Brookelyn enjoyed all her "new cousins" as she called them.
We made homemade "flower cupcakes" and sang.
Party #2 (sort of)
We decided we would hold a mini bday party for Brooke at Gpa and Gma's house after church on Sunday. This was somewhat a last minute decision to eat and then sing. She ended up not feeling well at all about 45 minutes after this picture was taken. She is still sick with the cold/flu 4 days later. :(

A photo I just LOVE!!! This was Brooke at her Aunt JoAnna's wedding in Oct. 07. Love the blonde curls. It is not as blonde now and is short, no curls. But she is still beautiful!
She is strong, independent, isn't pushed around. Rarely lets things get to her and speaks her mind. Hmmm! Sound like someone else you know? :) She loves school and is learning so much. She loves talking about Bible stories although gets them a little mixed up. It keeps me on my toes.
Praise God for blessing us with Brookelyn!
